Pleated Skirt

Today was a very productive day. I'm halfway through making a pleated skirt! Like sailormoon *U*
I hit a few bumps across the way, but now I have learned and can hopefully make things better second time around. I made the skirt a couple of inches past the knee, didn't want it short.
Skirts are not so easy to make, I made so many mistakes on this one. But we learn by our mistakes... I suppose.
Those pins are little weapons! ´д` ; I must have stabbed myself a million times!!! I'm sure this skirt has tiny blood stains all over it, if not its a miracle! Safe to say, If I can avoid using pins......... I do (눈‸눈)
Hopefully magic is real, and I become a professional in no time! (´-﹏-`；)

I have sewn the pleats, and neatened everything out. So tomorrow will work on sewing both sides of the skirt together as well as hopefully adding the elastic at the top and covering that up.
No idea how to do the elastic part. Hopefully I can find some tutorials to help me out. le' excite! o(≧▽≦)o

I used a simple white material, which I had plenty of. Once I get to grips with things, I will use prettier material. Might add some lace heart shaped pockets, I have too many ideas (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ !!

Also took a trip down the fabric store a couple of days ago and got fabric for bows and snap wallets. Might make a choker or too also, which is the reason for the little ribbon roses there. I just can't resist fruit print fabric! No idea what to do with the zippers yet, bought them for no reason.. yup, don't take me to a craft store, i tend to just buy everything. ☆

Here are two new bows I made last week, using the fabric I bought. Just waiting on my hair clips to attach to these, then up on the shop they go! yay! The cupcake stand is definitely going to be used at my stall at markets, so pretty..

A Lolita Day

A usual lolita day in pictures! I didn't go out today though, Sunday is a day of rest after all.

So I drew on my tablet (Currently drawing myself and my bird Pidge in chibi form), watched Tokyo Mew Mew, sewed a little and tumblr-ed alot >u< haha

Vintage Cosmetic company in Kitty- I can't remember where I bought the eyelashes, but I found the glue to be very weak.... So quite disappointed. That reminds me I need to buy some circle lenses!

I hear Geo is the best? ... Was thinking of buying the Angel Blue ones.

Storevey is amazing

I knew it was when I made my store but the stuff on there is awesome! Only thing is that shipping seems to be a little more pricey than places like etsy or ebay.

I was chilling out last night just browsing and faving things I want ;w; It was an enjoyable hour or so haha.

Beep Beep!

Our little 1968 beetle. Its baja converted! ;w; Isn't she cool!!!

Shes been in the shop getting things fixed. We are thinking of giving her a new paint job.

I don't know though, cause the colours at the moment are really pretty.

She shakes your bones to their very core, and so many squeaks and creaks, you can't count lol but shes an amazing little car.

Sometimes you so loose your patients with her, but shes so cute, she gets away with it :p

Cant wait to clean her up nice, I have a feeling shes going to be a very reliable little run around car.

Anxiety sucks!

I have had anxiety issues for a little over two years now. In the beginning it was rare occurrences, like when I was really stressed, really worried, or in tight spaces with lots of people.

Then It happened whenever I was alone, Then whenever I was out the house. It was the hardest time I have ever had in my life.

Somehow I worked through it, with help from friends and family and my fiance.

Since that horrible time where everything set off my anxiety, I haven't had any anxiety in at least a year. I even managed to make it through an interview, to get my first job!

However its been two days now, and I've had anxiety on and off. Sitting here right now with a very tight and fast running heart. Maybe its kind of helped to write about it...
I have nothing to be anxious about though this time. I have no idea whats setting it off recently... I'm not scared, nervous, stressed or worried. I'm in bed comfy and relaxed...

Anxiety sucks. Its so hard and such a discouraging thing. It really hits your confidence! I don't want to be back at the place I used to be, where I couldn't go out or be alone!

My plan is to talk again about this with my family and friends, because they got me through this the last time, maybe make a doctors appointment, just to make sure its definitely anxiety i'm experiencing, as this time around I feel it has no cause. and overall I just hope that this horrible feeling of not being able to breath goes away.

Pidge is getting so tame! Its crazy cause i've only had her since the 12th of July! Shes such an easy going bird, and from what I hear thats rare.

Lolita dress making

Now that I have a sewing machine, I have been looking into lolita dress making!

I don't know about most lolita fashion enthusiasts, but I cannot afford angelic pretty, or even handmade lolita dress makings.. for example: We're All Mad Here

Heck I can't even afford items off of Bodyline! Due to shipping being a fortune for me here.

So I found some handy tutorials and want to get started on making my first lolita skirt. I want to make something similar to this by Pinkly ever after. Cute huh!

I just like the simplicity of this and the see through fabric over a different fabric. Its very lolita/fairy kei.

I hope that with practice I can make items that look as cute as there dresses do! It will cost me a lot less thats for sure! haha. Yes its no angelic pretty >u< But I have to be realistic here lol.

So lolita skirt attempt one will begin at some point this month! Wish me luck!!

Wedding Planning Update 2

I found an amazing website with really pretty dresses at reasonable prices! I wanted to share a few of my favourite dresses ヽ(゜∇゜)ノ

I never thought I would like a satin dress, I always thought It was tacky looking, but this dress is stunning!

I really like the back to this dress and the waist tie. It is also very flattering to the figure! ;)

I find this dress to look very luxurious! As much as I love it, I'm not sure I can pull it off >u< I love lace sleeves though!

This is just very understated, I really love the simplicity of it. I like understated :)

I really like dresses with some form of strap to stop it falling down, last thing I want is someone stepping on my dress and my goods falling out! ∑(゜Д゜;)

Flutteryshy

Drawing fluttershy in chibi form. Shes such a delicate little character! As usual I love doing the lineart and will leave the annoying colouring for another day, cause I'm a lazy bum!
