Cute Can Kill

Cute can kill is a lovely little online shop, which sells unique one of a kind resin jewelary. By one of a kind I mean they make these babies by hand, meaning they can never be replicated. 

You get your hands on some really unique and creative items.

I personally love their stuff. Glitter, cute, and unique. What more could a girl want.

I recently received my sundae design necklace in the post and so far its the favourite of my growing collection. One think I will say is their stuff is like hens teeth to get a hold of... why?

When the shop is updated with items, everyone wants them! By a blink of an eye everything is gone. So you gotta be quick, if you want to be lucky enough to get something.

Halloween Inspired!

Hello my creepy Pumpkins! 

I dont know about you, but I love Halloween. Not the scary part of it mind you, but just the colours and the dressing up part.. oh and candy of course! 

Thought that I would make a nice little blog post for you all relating to the holiday.

The best part of halloween is all the bat themed items you get, due to the fact I'm a huge fan of pastel goth fashion. Anyway Im starting to ramble on. Hope you enjoy this blog post guys ^^

My bag Collection!

Hello my fluffy bunnies!

I decided to make a blog post on the bags I own. Cause I love these types of videos on youtube. Despite loving watching these videos, I definitely don't feel comfortable making videos of myself >u< If you see my previous youtube videos you will see why haha.

First bag I own is this Squirrel Party tote from Bodyline. I'm not too sure if its available on there website any more, but bodyline do make some uber cute stuff. Handbags I really like! I use this one regularly hence the state of it lol
One thing I will say however is that the sewing on the straps were not very strong. So I would advise that if you bought a tote from them, that you strengthen the straps ^^ This comes in a few different colours. Pink, Sax (Which is what I have), lilac, red and black.

Bag two is my watermelon bag which was bought at H&M. I almost died with excitement when I seen this in the store. Pretty sure everyone thought I was crazy.. but hey I kinda am!
So this bag is kind of an awkward shape >u< The green part is kind of woven straw, the pink is a very barbie pink shiny leather type fabric. The inside has a green lining and a small zip pocket for goodies!

Bag three is my Shirley Temple Bag. I actually bought this second hand on a lolita facebook group I joined. Although its pretty beaten up, has scuff parks and things are falling apart. I adore it! Its just so adorable and cute, especially the top of the bag. 

Look at the top! It has a red and green bow! Ughhhh I just cant even express how much I love this bag!!! 

Forth bag is my fox bag, which was bought for me at Christmas. I believe you can get this one on ebay and a new other sites. I love this bright coral colour, give a pop of colour to any outfit. This bags comes in soooo many colours its crazy!

 The straps are adjustable!

Bag five is my accessorize bag! It has kind of a scallop style trim. I really love this bag :) Its very pretty and goes with everything I ware. The inside includes a silk brown lining, with two pockets, which I use for my phone and pocket mirror. My phone fits perfectly in the pocket. There is also a small zip pocket! <3 Bags with compartments are awesome! :D

My sixth bag is my sugar bunny shop puddle bunny messenger bag! Look at all the chubby squishy bunnies! *U* This is from the online shop, Sugar Bunny Shop
I adore this bag! My giddy Aunt! LOVE IT! Now this bag is unfortunately out of stock on her website, however she has lots of other cute items! This bad is closed and opened by the latches there on the front, no zip security inside but it wouldn't be pretty hard for someone to dip there hands in here anyways. There is a small zip pocket inside, very well made! The strap is also adjustable. Although I love the bunnies on this bag, I gotta admit its a little annoying to use, but who cares! IT HAS BUNNIES ON IT!

And last but by no means least is my chococat tote. This one was a present for Christmas from a very special friend <3
Love and adore this! No idea where it was bought. Its a very sturdy bag and has an inside zip pocket. Chococat is sequenced which makes him sparkle and shine *U*

How to have a Kawaii instagram!

Hello my puddle ducks!

Today I wanted to talk about how you can have a kawaii instagram. The secret is apps!

Apps are wonderful tools to help make photos kawaiifull and prettyfull! And to make things even better, all the apps I will talk about today are FREE! Mmm free /drools. I believe all the apps are available on both android and iphones, but don't quote me on that ^^;

Photo Wonder

About this App:

The layout for this app is macaroon themed, very girly and cute! Everything is relatively easy to use, but of all the apps i've talked about on this blog its a little hard to locate things, however once you get the hang of where to find things, its a great app. There is just so much option!

In this app there are a lot of filter options, and I really like that you can apply a filter before you actually take a photo. This means you can check which affect looks best for what you're taking.. not only does this save time, but it also helps take a better picture.

There are cute lace borders, accessories and stamps, However there aren't a lot of variety.

There are a lot of cool options in this app, including one to totally blur certain parts of your photo, perfect for those shots where I want to show my outfit and not my derpy face haha.

My favourite part of this app is that you can add kawaii blush to your face as well as a whole host of other body and makeup altering stuff, including an anti-acne option! ( I haven't personally used this, but found that to be a clever thing to include to an app.) This app is used by the famous Xiaxue.

Okay so this app is a little less appealing to the eyes, theme wize! however still in keeping with the cuteness you want in an app ^^

Things are easier to locate within this app, although there are a few hidden things haha. One of the things I didn't find too great about this app, is that there is no filter options, only a brightness option! So if you were going to use this app, I suggest editing the filter of your image first in another app... which makes it a little annoying.. I know! But even so, this app was fun!

There are a lot of cute borders, which reminded me of Puricute!

Pen tool is really good, usually with pen tools they can be wonky and jaggy looking, but I don't feel this is.

This app is really plain and simple. There is nothing complicated about it, but the features are limited, However the scrapbook option in this App is awesome! I haven't seen another app like it thats so cute. I like that you can move and select items at any point to change the size and angle! You can also place different things above and below the items on the screen too! There are not a lot of stamps, but i really like the ones you get in this app. Its kind of 80s come pastel gosh come kawaii!

Finished Skirt!

After hours, lots of mistakes, and lots of pin pricks, I have finally finished! 

I can't believe I actually made a skirt, and it actually looks not too bad for my first try! 

I made thousands of mistakes, but I know next time to avoid those! ; v ; Im just so happy!

I can't wait to try the same thing with nicer patterned material.

 Here is a close up of the top of the skirt, Its tidy for the most part. The strip I used for the belt to cover the top end of the pleats was shorted than I thought, So I had to improvise with the back.. 

Here is the back. As the skirt was tailored to my waist size, I decided just to add a zip! 

Here is me looking rather derpy with the skirt on. Excuse my shirt, It was what I was wearing at the time >u< I know it doesn't quite go haha

Oooh my legs kinda blend in with my wardrobe there oops lol

Pleated Skirt

Today was a very productive day. I'm halfway through making a pleated skirt! Like sailormoon *U*
I hit a few bumps across the way, but now I have learned and can hopefully make things better second time around. I made the skirt a couple of inches past the knee, didn't want it short.
Skirts are not so easy to make, I made so many mistakes on this one. But we learn by our mistakes... I suppose.
Those pins are little weapons! ´д` ; I must have stabbed myself a million times!!! I'm sure this skirt has tiny blood stains all over it, if not its a miracle! Safe to say, If I can avoid using pins......... I do (눈‸눈)
Hopefully magic is real, and I become a professional in no time! (´-﹏-`；)

I have sewn the pleats, and neatened everything out. So tomorrow will work on sewing both sides of the skirt together as well as hopefully adding the elastic at the top and covering that up.
No idea how to do the elastic part. Hopefully I can find some tutorials to help me out. le' excite! o(≧▽≦)o

I used a simple white material, which I had plenty of. Once I get to grips with things, I will use prettier material. Might add some lace heart shaped pockets, I have too many ideas (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ !!

Also took a trip down the fabric store a couple of days ago and got fabric for bows and snap wallets. Might make a choker or too also, which is the reason for the little ribbon roses there. I just can't resist fruit print fabric! No idea what to do with the zippers yet, bought them for no reason.. yup, don't take me to a craft store, i tend to just buy everything. ☆

Here are two new bows I made last week, using the fabric I bought. Just waiting on my hair clips to attach to these, then up on the shop they go! yay! The cupcake stand is definitely going to be used at my stall at markets, so pretty..

A Lolita Day

A usual lolita day in pictures! I didn't go out today though, Sunday is a day of rest after all.

So I drew on my tablet (Currently drawing myself and my bird Pidge in chibi form), watched Tokyo Mew Mew, sewed a little and tumblr-ed alot >u< haha

Vintage Cosmetic company in Kitty- I can't remember where I bought the eyelashes, but I found the glue to be very weak.... So quite disappointed. That reminds me I need to buy some circle lenses! 

I hear Geo is the best? ... Was thinking of buying the Angel Blue ones.

Storevey is amazing

I knew it was when I made my store but the stuff on there is awesome! Only thing is that shipping seems to be a little more pricey than places like etsy or ebay.
